Cold Water Lobster Tail
It’s unfortunate, this picture does not do the lobster tail any justice on its actual size. As the waitress brought out our plates, our eyes widen, wanting to stretch out further than our skulls. The dishes were not only beautiful but the “eye-widening effect” was mainly caused by the size of the seafood. Being in the Midwest, you don’t get that quite often and I’ve traveled to a few different places, still this one stole my breath away. On top of that, the quality scale was just as large. The dishes were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The 12 oz lobster tail was so meaty yet smooth, a melt in our mouth sensation. This one lobster tail was definitely better than any two outside of Del-Bar.
Jumbo Sea Scallops
The Jumbo Sea Scallops had roasted wild mushrooms with a vermouth reduction. Again, the size and quality amazed me. The scallops were cooked perfectly, just tender and succulent. The mushroom had a dry contrast but added great textural difference and complemented the dish well.
